Timocco is proud to announce the opening of its U.S. headquarters in Akron, Ohio!
We’d like to say a big thanks to the City of Akron for their help and support that has led us to our decision to base our new headquarters in Akron’s Global Business Accelerator campus.
Here at Timocco we felt that the state of Ohio, with some of the best educational and health facilities in the U.S., specifically for children with special needs, offers great potential and possibilities for Timocco’s continued expansion within the U.S. market.
Talks are currently underway regarding introducing Timocco to area health-care facilities, including Akron Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals’ Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
The Akron-based office will allow for more comprehensive support and services for Timocco’s existing U.S customers, and allowing us to be more accessible to queries about our products.
In its initial phase the new office will be staffed by a senior manager and four additional personnel, with plans to expand further in about a year. The headquarters will be officially opened within the next three months.
“We think Timocco has a unique learning tool that will make a difference in the lives of our children who have special needs, their therapists, and parents, and we are pleased that Akron will be the U.S. center for this technology,” Akron Mayor Don Plusquellic told local media at a news conference announcing the opening Wednesday.
“What we found in Akron was an open door . . . an amazing support system from Cleveland to Columbus that we can use to support our activities,” Timocco’s CEO Eran Arden told the conference.
