We wanted to let you know that now kids and adults can practice supination and pronation while playing.
On Friday, some of the Timocco team headed to Providence, Rhode Island to kick off an exciting new phase to our therapy offerings. We have been working hard for over 2 years with partners such as Brown University, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and Meeting Street, with support from the BIRD Foundation on a groundbreaking new platform and game controller.
Our new supination/pronation platform has games that can measure angles of movement of the wrist with great precision. The new platform motivates the patient to practice supination and pronation while playing, the first of its kind for a therapeutic web-based platform. Several key members of the research and development team spoke to the crowd filled with parents, therapists, teachers, and other interested individuals.
ABC6 in Providence came to the event and produced a news piece, which recently aired. The piece features many of the collaborators on this exciting project.
