At the Convention for Child Development in Jerusalem, Dr. Netanel Tzelnik, Head of Neurologic & Child Development Center for “Clalit Health Services” (the largest Health Service provider in Israel) presented the results of a pilot test of Timocco.
Dr. Natanel Tzelnik and his team tested a total of more than 65 children; aged 3-7 years old, who suffer from ADHA (30), CP (24) and other syndromes.
The results:
ADHD: 27 of the 30 children tested (90%) showed immediate response. Their concentration improved while completing structured tasks for over 40 consecutive minutes (sitting at a table without too many distractions). The response was consistent in 10 sessions or more.
CP: 19 of the 24 children tested (79%) exercised their hemiplegic arm more than before, and in contrast to other methods of treatment, their experience was a positive one – something which encouraged them to keep using the weaker arm.
Just how frequently this treatment needs to be repeated in order to maintain the child’s progress is uncertain.
Summary:
The pilot displays the efficiency of the software which can treat children with multiple developmental difficulties.
Following the success of the pilot, we are planning a large scale research program in order to test the system more thoroughly.
