Timocco Research Study By OSU Students

OSU Occupational Therapy students, Gabrielle and Grace are conducting a research study using Timocco, called “Pediatric Game-Based Rehabilitation Using Telehealth Technology”. They presented a poster on their study at the OOTA Conference this past weekend.

Here is their plan: They will work with 5 children, ages 4-12 with Cerebral Palsy utilizing Timocco. There will be a screening, pre-treatment assessment using Timocco’s Plans and games. They will assign 7 hours/week of home use of Timocco for the children (not consecutive) and a minimum of 30 minutes conferencing sessions each week to observe the children playing the games. They are looking to see a change between the pre and post assessment scores and are hopeful that it will lead to longer studies in the future!
