Within the Timocco platform, there are many ways to play and engage the player. Our plans were designed by OTs and educators to align to common IEP goals and consist of pre-selected games with pre-set settings. The settings get progressively more challenging throughout the plan to work on the selected skill. Also, these plans have built-in assessment games that enable the therapist/professional to compare progress over time.
Timocco’s plans can be used in a variety of ways, but we generally recommend playing 5-10 minutes of a chosen plan at the beginning or end of a session and inviting the child to play from home. Below we have listed three of our most popular engaging Timocco plans based on developmental age.
1. Cause & Effect Plan – This is a great plan to start on with the youngest Timocco players you work with.
2. Crossing the Midline Plan – This plan is effective for a variety of children (and adults) but is best suited for ages 4-6 developmentally.
3. Teamwork Plan – This plan is amazing whether it is used in therapy as the player/therapist professional as the second “team-mate”, or to play at home or at school with siblings or friends. This plan is best utilized by players who are working on social skills and are developmentally above the age of 6.
Timocco’s platform currently has 20 plans. We are always working to develop more. Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask a Timocco team member for specific recommendations about a plan. Have fun playing Timocco’s plans!
